African people
Poem Prose
African people,
How do you do?
African children,
I salute you.
We are sheltered to live together,
Not to kill and eat one another.
We are from one father and mother,
So that means we are brothers and sisters.
In your lone give peace a chance,
In your ways give peace a chance.
Whatever you do allow peace to reign,
Wherever you are allow peace to reign.
Whatever you say allow peace to reign,
Whoever you are allow peace to reign.
African leaders,
How do you do?
African chiefs I salute you.
Loosen the chains that are binding your hand,
This is the time for us to farm the land.
Settle the grudges that are causing distraction,
For this is the time for solid construction.
In your lone give peace a chance,
On your ways give peace a chance.
Whatever you do allow peace to reign,
Wherever you are allow peace to reign.
Whatever you say allow peace to reign.
Whoever you are allow peace to reign.
Hello Papa how do you do?
Hello Mama I salute you.
Teach your children from greed and hate.
For they will be every where to show gain,
If they are bad then you will be blamed,
If they are good glory will be to your name.
In your lone give peace a chance,
On your ways give peace a chance.
Whatever you teach allow peace to reign,
Whatever you learn allow peace to reign.
Whatever we sing allow peace to reign,
However you are dance allow peace to reign.
African people how do you do?
African children I salute you.
We are sheltered to live together,
Not to kill and eat one another.
We are from one father and mother,
So that means we are brothers and sisters.
In your lone give peace a chance,
On your ways give peace a chance.
Whatever you do allow peace a chance,
Wherever you are allow peace to reign.
Whatever you say allow peace to reign,
Whoever you are allow peace to reign.
Whatever you teach allow peace to reign,
Whatever we learn allow peace to reign.
However we sing allow peace to reign,
However you dance allow peace to reign.
Whoever you are allow peace to reign,
Wherever you are allow peace to reign.
